What error 277 means
Roblox lists Error Code 277 as a lost connection to the game server and recommends checking the internet connection before reconnecting. It is not proof that an experience is malicious or that you need an unofficial “repair” tool. Separate a single-experience failure from a wider Roblox or network problem before changing files.
Test the smallest useful change
Check Roblox status, reconnect the network, pause large downloads and try another experience. If only one experience fails, record its name, creator and time; if every experience fails, compare another trusted network or device. Keep the official Roblox client updated and avoid modified clients, browser extensions or downloads that promise to remove the error.
When to contact Roblox
If the error remains after the official checks, contact Roblox Support with the account-safe details they request: device, operating system, experience, exact code and approximate time. Do not send a password, cookie or verification code. A useful report distinguishes connection loss from an outdated client, third-party antivirus interference or an experience-specific outage.
