Choose a learning job
Top lane teaches isolated trades, wave control and side-lane pressure; jungle adds pathing, camps and objective timing; mid combines wave control with access to both sides of the map; bot lane combines a marksman and support; support develops vision, engage and peel. None is a permanent “best beginner role”—choose the decisions you want to practise.
A low-noise starting pool
Play normal games with two simple champions in one role and one backup role. Learn the first wave, recall timing, basic ability costs and what the role is expected to do before copying a high-level build. A beginner page should explain why a champion fits the job, not promise that a current tier list will solve positioning.
Review the right mistakes
After a game, review the first unnecessary death, the first missed objective and the moment you lost a wave or recalled late. KDA alone does not show whether you used priority, protected a carry or traded resources well. Patch changes may alter champion strength, but the role fundamentals remain the useful starting point.
